  • 298g
    Almond Milk
  • 7g
    Dry Active Yeast
  1. Warm the almond milk to about 100*F and whisk in the yeast and some of the sugar, set aside to activate
  2. In a mixing bowl place the flour, salt, remaining sugar, and vanilla extract. Begin to mix the ingredients together one low speed with a dough hook
  3. Add in the vegan butter and incorporate the activated yeast mixture
  4. Once all ingredients are combined, turn on to a medium speed for about 8-12 minutes until the dough has built gluten and is read
  5. Place the dough into a lightly greased bowl and cover with plastic. Allow dough to rise for about an hour or until the dough has doubled in size
  6. Punch down the dough and roll out to desired thickness and cut the dough into desired size of donut
  7. Place onto a lined tray, and allow a second proof on the dough before frying
  8. Fry donuts and allow to cool slightly before glazing

Chocolate Icing

  • 45g
    Almond Milk
  • 200g
    CHD-L15A694-16
  1. Melt chocolate around 40*C
  2. Warm the milk and creat emulsion with melted chocolate
  3. Dip donuts and garnish
