Although we didn’t make the cut, we are tremendously proud to have been shortlisted as finalist in the Best Ingredient Innovation category, and received a 'Highly Commended' award. And with good reason.

Highly Commended award in Best Ingredient Innovation

Cabosse Naturals is honored to have been shortlisted as finalist for the 2021 World Food Innovation Awards, a prestigious global award, in Best Ingredient Innovation for which it received a ‘Highly Commended’ award. Cabosse Naturals has developed an innovative up-cycling supply chain to harness the natural richness and the delicious taste of the cacaofruit. For centuries, the cacaofruit has been harvested for its seeds, better known as the cocoa beans, while 70% of the fruit was simply thrown away.

Now, thanks to our low waste supply chain, we guarantee a complete usage of the nutritious cacaofruit. Not only its seeds are used to create our amazing chocolate as we know it, but also the dried peel and the fresh and juicy pulp are used and processed to delicious and nutritious ingredients.

Our millennials and centennials are making more conscious decisions about the food and drink choices in their daily lives. They require products that are not only tasty but also healthy and sustainable. It must have a positive impact on the planet and its people. World Food Innovation Awards

For the 7th year, the World Food Innovation Awards celebrates and recognizes creative innovation and excellence in the global food industry. In this edition, there were several awards to be won in categories ranging from products and packaging to marketing, manufacturing, and sustainability. The World Food Innovation Awards gives a fine representation of what the future beholds for food innovation, revolutionary technologies, and health-conscious consumers.

To have been shortlisted as a finalist of the category Best Ingredient Innovation and won a ‘Highly Commended’ award is an amazing recognition of our hard pioneering work to establish a solid, sustainable, and scalable supply of the delicious cacaofruit to unlock the next generation of food and drinks. We are looking forward to a world with next-generation food and beverages, where the food is tasty, nutritious, and good for the planet and its people!
