Chocolate soufflé

Don't believe the hype. Chocolate soufflé is not at all hard to make. On top, it's a light dessert that definitely falls under the comfort food category. Rarely mentioned on the dessert menu, this all-time classic certainly deserves its place and could bring you the differentiation you're looking for. In this recipe, the intense chocolate flavour is freshened up with an exciting touch of orange zest.

Chocolate soufflé

ingredients preparation
  • 250g
    milk
  • 2piece(s)
    orange zest

Bring to the boil and leave to infuse.

  • 35g
    flour
  • 40g
    butter

Mix.

  • 100g
    egg yolks
  • 12g
    sugar

Mix and add.

  • 75g
    CHD-R731EQU
  • 150g
    egg white
  • 50g
    caster sugar
  • 1g
    pudding powder
  • 12g
    maiz starch

Mix together and add to the previous mixture.

Bake for 5 minutes at 200°C and serve immediately.
