Giuseppe Piffaretti is a recognised expert in the baking and patisserie world of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. He is also an adviser to the Swiss Association of Bakers and Confectioners. Representing Switzerland, he and Tiziano Bonacina took second place at the Coppa del Mondo della Gelateria in Rimini (Italy) in 2010.
Rolf Caviezel is a passionate expert in the gastronomic scene. Molecular cuisine combines two important elements for him: cooking as an art form and the fun involved in experimentation. He has demonstrated his skills at the Grand Hotel Quellenhof in Bad Ragaz, the Dolder Grand in Zurich, the Suvretta House in St. Moritz and as a private chef in Canada. Rolf Mürner is an experienced confectioner and runs his own company, Swiss Pastry Design. In 2007, he won the Pastry World Cup, and in 2008 came third in the Pastry Olympics. His first publication, Mürner 1, was voted the world’s best book of desserts in 2010. In 2013, the sequel, Mürner Level, was published. Many of Rolf’s books have won awards.
