Chocolate Bourbon Biscuits

A British classic biscuit, even more delicious when made with Great British Chocolate!

Biscuits

ingredients preparation
  • 125g
    unsalted butter
  • 125g
    caster sugar

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and creamy.

  • 30g
    CHD-P55SA

Melt the chocolate and add it to the creamed mix

  • 1g
    Egg

Mix the egg into the creamed mix

  • 250g
    plain flour
  • 50g
    cocoa powder

Add the plain flour and cocoa powder and mix together to form a dough.

Bake at 160c for 10 minutes.

Filling

  • 80g
    unsalted butter
  • 70g
    CHD-P70SA

Melt the butter and chocolate together

  • 150g
    icing sugar

Sieve the icing sugar into the chocolate mix. Stir together well to form a smooth paste.

Pipe 10g of filling onto a biscuit and sandwich together with another.

Store in a sealed container at room temperature and enjoy within a week.
