The organic logo gives a coherent visual identity to organic products in the European Union. This makes it easier for European consumers to identify organic products. The organic logo can only be used on products that have been certified as organic by an authorized control body of the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission).

The National Organic Program (NOP)

The National Organic Program (NOP) is the federal regulatory framework in the United States of America governing organic food. The core mission of the NOP is to protect the integrity of the USDA organic seal. The NOP develops the rules & regulations for the production, handling, labeling and enforcement of all USDA organic products. The seal is used for products adhering to USDA standards that contain at least 95% organic ingredients.

CCPAE logo - Organic certification

CCPAE - Catalunia

The Catalan Council of Organic Production (CCPAE) are a supervisory authority of Catalonia and its function is to audit and certify organic food products in the territory. Our organic nut range is certified by CCPAE. This means that certified products are elaborated following the rules of organic agriculture, and that they have been controlled in all their process of production, elaboration, packaging and commercialization. Organic vegetable products are products grown without fertilizers or pesticides of chemical synthesis (fungicides, insecticides or herbicides). Therefore, without residues of these substances. If a product is CCPAE certified, it is standardly Euroleaf-certified as well.

IFOAM - Organics International

IFOAM – Organics International provides advice to policymakers, national organic movements, NGOs and others, on strategies to develop sustainable and credible organic sectors. They also maintain an Organic Guarantee System, a global non-profit independent evaluation program that helps consumers understand which organic labels they can trust.
