Best of 2 worlds: the merger between Barry Callebaut and D’Orsogna

The collaboration between D’Orsogna and Barry Callebaut is a natural fit. At different times during the companies histories, both Barry Callebaut and D’Orsogna were challenged by the same customers. The goal was to come up with solutions to improve existing products. Both parties came up with unique tailor-made product solutions, which are best-sellers worldwide to this day.

Barry Callebaut and D’Orsogna share the same DNA : being active in the same markets and industries, customer-oriented and having a problem-solving attitude. Hence it was a logical step to combine the best of both businesses. With the acquisition of D’Orsogna Dolciaria, Barry Callebaut became a leader in decoration and inclusion products, expanding its existing offering with amaretti, meringues, cookies, glazings, toppings, inclusions and other products for ice cream, yoghurts, snacks and chocolate decorations.
