Chocolate Flapjack Bites

These Chocolate Flapjack Bites are ideal for any occasion whether it’s breakfast, lunch or as an afternoon treat, these tasty oat bars, which are suitable for vegan diets, will please any customer.

Chocolate Flapjack Bites

Ingredients Preparation
  • 260g
  • 100g
    oat flour
  • 30g
    Cocoa nibs

Mix the oats, oat flour and cocoa nibs together in a bowl and set aside.

  • 250g
    margarine, vegan
  • 125g
    dark brown sugar
  • 125g
    golden syrup
  • 5g
    vanilla paste

Melt the chocolate, margarine, dark brown sugar, vanilla and golden syrup together.

Pour over the oat mixture and combine well.

Stir through the chocolate callets and then place into a 20 cm square baking tin.

Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Once cooled, temper remaining dark chocolate and spread a thin layer of tempered chocolate on top of the flapjacks and cut immediately into squares 5cm x 5cm.
