Barbara Regini (Italy)

Barbara Regini comes from Milan, Italy. She has always been inspired by art, having majored in sculpture and decoration at the Art College Liceo Artistico. She began experimenting with sugar art creations in 2014 and immediately fell in love.

She specializes in modelling techniques. She loves teaching and participates in national exhibitions. She is a cake decorating artist that has also won numerous competitions and was selected among the ten national finalists Glamour Italian Cakes at in 2013. Renato Ardovino (Italy)

Renato is considered the leading master of Italian cake design. Besides supervising his own workshop and serving prestigious clients, he works with distinguished Italian trade magazines on cuisine and cake design. He has starred in local Italian TV shows (Torte in corso con Renato and My Cake Design). Two of his creations, Giardino d’inverno (Winter Garden) and Cenerentola (Cinderella) were exhibited at the 54th Venice Biennale

In 2013 Rizzoli published his first book Torte in Corso con Renato, which became a bestseller. In 2015 he released a new book, Il Cake Design, to share his most beautiful works. In addition, Renato’s cakes have featured at many important celebratory parties for leading Italian and international organizations. Heike lives with her family on a farm in Germany, and was able to combine her love for art and baking, by designing cakes. Since 2013 she offers workshops to introduce more people to the world of colourful cake art.
