Leading the low waste revolution

cacaofruit cracked open with beans

With Cabosse Naturals, we are reducing our waste to protect our Mother Nature. The cacaofruit grows on the trunk and branches of the cacaofruit tree. Once the cacaofruits are ripe, they are harvested, opened and the seeds (beans) are removed and collected to produce our beloved chocolate. Normally, the rest of the cacaofruit was then thrown away.

Now we have found a way to use all parts of this nutritious fruit, allowing you to enjoy its deliciously sweet, zesty pulp and peel safe in the knowledge that nothing is wasted.

Because of today, up to 30% of all the food produced in the world goes to waste. By joining the Upcycled Food Association (UFA), Cabosse Naturals contributes to this movement with the upcycled cacaofruit ingredients. Get to know the Cacaofruit Experience and unlock the next generation of food & beverages for your customers.

As Nature intended

These days so many things are artificially enhanced it’s hard to find something that hasn’t been tampered with. And that’s what makes our cacaofruit ingredients so precious and unique.

Our cacaofruit ingredients come from the upcycled cacaofruit. And are processed in a few simple steps—filtering, gently pasteurizing, and concentrating.

Because the cacaofruit is naturally delicious, you can enjoy a natural product, with minimal processing, and an authentic sweetness born in nature. Simplicity never tasted so good.
