At Barry Callebaut, we do our best to avoid damage to the environment. As an integrated chocolate company with suppliers, operations, and customers around the globe, we are very conscious of the environmental impacts of our value chain. We have extended our conservation programs to cocoa-producing countries where the first conversion processing of cocoa beans to cocoa liquor takes place. Key strategic priorities include conserving resources, minimizing adverse impacts, eliminating surplus packaging, and maximizing waste recovery and recycling.
