Wieze/Belgium, January 23, 2014 – At ISM 2014 Barry Callebaut will present its ASM range of compound chocolates and uniquely designed fillings. The world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products acquired former ASM Foods AB a year ago. The broad product range offered by ASM perfectly complements Barry Callebaut’s existing range of high-quality chocolates. ASM’s compound chocolates and fillings are applicable in the ice cream, dairy, confectionery and bakery products segments.
Freshly made, delivered ‘just-in-time’
ASM’s comprehensive portfolio of fillings includes innovative and surprising flavors and textures like: pure Nordic berries, ‘short texture’ caramel, authentic licorice flavors or bake-stable fruit fillings. Almost every filling is available in a water-based and a fat-based variant. Moreover, the fruit fillings may contain over 50% of fresh fruit. All fillings are easy to work with. Small minimum batches make optimal flexibility for customers possible. As all products are freshly made, no stock is kept and each preparation is delivered ‘just-in-time’.
Unique in the compound chocolates range of ASM are those that are colored naturally and flavored or with small fruit pieces. In addition to launching limited editions or seasonalities on a regular basis, ASM launched distinctive specialty projects in the past: Stracciatella (chocolate pieces melting together with ice cream) or Chocotinos (free floating chocolate pieces for ice cream and dairy applications) are only a few examples of its truly remarkable achievements.
