GRI reporting index

For the first time in its history, Barry Callebaut has reported according to the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). GRI is a non-profit organization that promotes economic, environmental and social sustainability. GRI provides all companies and organizations with a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework that is widely used around the world. We have taken this step in an effort to bring more transparancy to our reporting on the triple bottom line – people, planet and profit.

For the fiscal year 2011/2012 Barry Callebaut achived GRI’s “C“ level according to the G3 Guidelines.
