Through its Winning Together! employee initiatives, Barry Callebaut encourages employees to take part in sports and other team activities while creating awareness for the company’s social projects in cocoa producing countries.
The 2007 Winning Together initiative culminated in the opening of a medical center to serve the cocoa farming community around Goh village, 85 km north of San Pedro in Ivory Coast.
The 2008 Winning Together initiative is supporting the building of a school in the Akoupé region, north of Abidjan in Ivory Coast.
