Callebaut^® Finest Belgian Chocolate™ today announced the launch of Fairtrade certified versions of its popular 811NV (55.3% Cacao Dark), 823NV (35.1% Milk) and 70-30-38NV (70% Cacao Dark) references to confectioners, bakers and pastry chefs.

Renowned for producing the finest-grade chocolate in the world, Cacao Barry® is searching for the Chocolatier of the Year in 2012 in its annual L’Art du Chocolatier Challenge, a competition that encourages creativity and expertise in designing and executing original creations using the French premium chocolate brand.

After three-days of breathtaking competition between nineteen national Chocolate Masters, the results of the fourth World Chocolate Masters competition have been announced. The event took place at the "Salon du Chocolat Professionnel" exhibition at Porte de Versailles in Paris (France). At this year's world finals, organised for the fourth time by Cacao Barry^®, Callebaut^® and Carma^®, Frank Haasnoot, winner of the Dutch World Chocolate Masters preselection, was selected as the "World Chocolate Master 2011" by an international jury composed of twenty-two leading chocolate professionals. In second place was Yoshiaki Uezaki from Japan and in third place Palle Sorensen from Denmark.

Yesterday evening, the young singer Juliette Katz walked down the walkway in a splendid dress made of chocolate by Cacao Barry®. The occasion for this unusual appearance was the opening fashion show for the 17^th Salon du Chocolat, held under the patronage of Chantal Thomass.
