Barry Callebaut is organized by regions: Region Europe (consisting of Western and Eastern Europe), Region Americas and Region Asia-Pacific. The globally managed “Global Sourcing & Cocoa” business is reported as a separate operating segment like a region. This organizational structure supports the company’s strategic goal to expand its activities in high-growth countries, to improve its operational footprint and increase its global presence. Within the regions, four different product groups are separated: Cocoa Products, Food Manufacturer Products, Gourmet & Specialities Products and – where existent – Consumer Products.
